i wanna put 16's or 17's on my car and def gotta lower it. should i go springs or coil overs. springs will obviously be easier and cheaper and could happen sooner. idk

regardless of your rim choice, your opinion on ride height will differ with ALL your future modifications, and your changing taste through time. coilovers are a much more diverse, and are really NOT much of a price difference of a GOOD spring/shock combo. whatever CHEAP spring/shock combo you're looking at, probably has absolutely no comparison to a cheap coilover kit, or a decent spring/shock combo. if you're asking whether or not to buy spring/shock or coilovers, i'm pretty sure you've never had a set of REAL coilovers (not sleeves). go ahead and save your money, we're all broke and have to fight off the urge to pass on the easy way out, and you WONT be upset with yourself. since my first set of coilovers, ive decided to NEVER buy another spring/shock combo... and i just keep seeming to up my price range with every set of coilover to the next standard of performance. GO with the coilovers, you'll absolutely LOVE them and wont regret it man... seriously. do it.
