They both run about the same price.. and they both ride about the same.. the Forms are a little smoother. so theres no real way to decide. But I say since everyone and their mamas run the Skunk 2's you should go with the Function Forms.

I can VOuche on both of them because I had both setups before on my hatch. and skunk2 are awesome. but Function forms are really goood for the price range. it rides smooth also. Its hard to choice cause ill take both of them but ill go with FUNCTION FORMS type 2's or 1's any day really. lol.

what are the springrates for both, what are the dampening adjustments? what size is the dampener piston and sleeve? are they mono or dual tube dampeners? are they inverted dampeners? aluminum or steel bodies and mounts? what are your driving intentions for this vehicle?

i didnt really see any responses above giving any reason besides opinions on "ride". All the above questions are how I consider and gauge a coilover purchase for myself or a friend, if you can get my stats or answers to above questions on both coilovers i'd be able to voice my input on the structure of the two opposing products. either way im sure both products are well made and very similiar designs, but the dampener is what makes the big difference in coilovers and that comes into decision with what you're planning on using the vehicle for.

true coilovers will give you the better ride quality over spring shock setup when ridin slammed
enuff most def. Just dont go with a crazy stiff spring rate and dont put to much preload on the
springs when adj. and you should be fine. Ive run coilovers for years and will NEVER do another
spring shock setup again.

/agree.

for dailying low, go with whichever one has a shorter dampener. i'd call both companys and ask for a measurement cause they probably dontl ist them.
